So, you don't think there is ever a reason to sell an investment nor do you believe anyone could possibly devise a set of criteria to buy investments that will consistently outperform the market. Many intelligent people believe in passive investing and that is perfectly reasonable. It has proven to be a prudent strategy for long term investing. However, the historical returns of many investors proves that it is possible to outperform the markets in the long term. Peter Lynch comes to mind. Even your theories on investing are still just that, theories. Let the returns speak for themselves. On that note, it would be interesting if you kept an online tracking of your own portfolio on this site.
Anyway, thanks for the effort in putting together this site...certainly some worthwhile reading.
